Well, to be fair, Mother's Day saw the same kind of phenomenon (increased Sunday numbers).

Well as for Nemesis sales, when it slipped out of the Top 20 DVDs it was up to 1,476,000 units.
I reckon Star Trek XI can shift maybe 6-7 million?

By using maths, I've come up with the relatively simple equation of DVD Sold/Box Office. For Nemesis that gives us approximately 2,000,000/43,254,409 or .0462 DVDs for every Box Office Dollar (DVD/BOD).
Soooo....using that .0462 as a very conservative bottom end and ignoring the polar opposite WoM these movies are getting and how STXI's DVD will drop in time for Christmas while Nemesis dropped in time for Mother's Day...that would give us a current DVD estimate of 11,099,797 DVDs sold.
At an average price of 34.99 for a new release that would pump in an additional 388,381,897.03 into the overall total.
So, on the low end, we're talking about $628,637,237 domestic take if the film stops playing today and the DVD sells as much as Nemesis.
