Another box office thread...all time ST box office!

ST 09 has now put the domestic movie series within $12 million of $1 billion!!! What's more, the worldwide gross is almost up to $1.425 BILLION...yes billion. All this at the cost of a measly $500 million.

Seeing those budget figures, it always amazes me how little love Paramount showed Trek in that department. In today's dollars, TMP had a $104 million budget. But try shooting TWOK for $27 million, today.

As I was watching the credits roll and hearing the wonderful, old theme song blast out last night at the IMAX, it dawned on me that if someone had told me in 1966 that this would be happening in 2009, I would have thought they were stark, raving coo-coo.

I like ENT and Scott; we have QL season sets, because of the husband -- who is a big fan. Can I be forgiven?

I don't hate QL. I just find it a little bit boring. I have watched some episodes, so I dont hate it.
