Another good hold. Assuming about the same for tomorrow, and I'm guessing somewhere around $3.5M for the weekend, Star Trek should pass TMP for highest adjusted domestic gross in the franchise in other week or so.

So, I notice that Sandra Bullock's new movie, "The Proposal," was written by Orci and Kurtzman. I will be interested to see how their foray into comedy goes.

Interesting. I was actually thinking about taking the wife to see that, as she generally likes that genre but hasn't been to see one in a while. I like Ryan Reynolds, so it might be worthwhile.

I might actually go see it, too, just to see how O&K do. I like Sandra, but I rarely see films at the theater, present company excepted. She's filmed a couple here in Chicago, which makes her kind of a home girl, too.
