Star Trek moved back up above Terminator, earning about the same as it did yesterday. It is a good hold for Star Trek considering it dropped only 30% from last Tuesday.

I'm sure they take performance in mind when determining number of venues--at least at the low end, since they have commitments to upcoming films..

My Mum, who likes everything and everyone and finds redeeming qualities in the worst films hated Terminator. This made me decide not to watch it, although I had intended to upon seeing the trailer for the first time. Word of mouth can do a lot of damage.... or good in Trek's case.

According to the NASM website, the Airbus Imax Theatre at the Udvar-Hazy Center in Chantilly, VA (the "Dulles branch" of the National Air and Space Museum) is showing Star Trek in Imax at 6:00 and 8:30 PM between June 12 and 21.

oh, yeah, I knew that. I'm hoping that one of the AMCs in central NJ has an IMAX showing this weekend. I'm going to visit my folks and I think my dad's definitely up for it.
