A little bit of paint, can go a long way. Although I start painting the set tomorrow, and I can see a little bit of paint going not very far at all!
HYPERION preproduction set construction photos /design thanks for sharing the set construction photos. Looks like you have a great-sized set for actors walking around and moving the camera around the set and enough ceiling room for lighting from above with larger instruments (2k, 4k lights) Still a lot of work to do: set decoration, painting, consoles, lighting At this time are you able to share your concept art for the consoles? Woah, page-stretch-a-go-go! Mind thumbnailing or arranging your pics vertically? Set's looking great so far.
As far as the graphics go, I'm afraid they're pretty basic, all similar designs from the same template. got an msd which I'm frantically trying to get printed as we speak, and the consoles are made of four pieces. They're back lit too so it should look bearable! The bridge design is a mix of necessity and a couple of likes. it's post nemesis, single centre chair because I've always liked it better that way, but it could only be a small bridge because our studio is only 10m x 10m (ish). Erm, I have no idea how to.. :s they all go down on my page. help me out? I used this chap, I don't know whether it's exactly the same, he does death heads of serial killers, so I guessed he couldn't go too wrong with it! http://www.somervillescan.co.uk/about_us
There's a possibility that it'll end up at a show in Sandwell, but that's not a certainty yet. Otherwise, I don't have anywhere to store it, so it's for the skip I'm afraid. :/ btw, finished filming now. some stills.
Lets be honest, you were not taking a photo of the set. You were just trying to get a shot down her shirt.
That's a great bridge set! If I were you I'd hire a professional photographer and have it properly conserved for posterity before dismantling it.
Holy gosh, that's a fantastic bridge set you have there! For what I can see, amazing work... wish you all the best of luck, and will sure follow your progresses
Very impressive. How high is the rise from one level to the next on the bridge, BTW - four inches or six inches?
We were on 5inch crates. In retrospect I'd have gone a little higher, but we worked with what we had.
