Good to see that not only is it holding steady, but its putting up a decent fight against newer stuff

That is so cool! Thanks. I did my bit: trip #12 last night.

We are going to keep going a couple times a week until it's gone. I'm sure there is someone who has gone every day; there's another poster here that has been at least 13 times.

Awesome. At this rate, it will gross over $1M more this Mon-Thurs than I was expecting.

That is so cool! Thanks. I did my bit: trip #12 last night.

Wow! I'm still trying to figure out when I'm going to fit in a third viewing. I've never seen any movie more than seven times in the theater.

This is fabulous news! Already, Trek is now #4 up from yesterday

I saw Star Wars about 20 times in the theater; but that doesn't really count, because back then there was no hope of seeing it anywhere else.

What movie did you see 7 times? Star Trek is the first one I've been to that many.

Star Trek (2009) has now surpassed The Voyage Home in terms of inflation-adjusted box office take. It's now # 2 amongst the Trek flicks.

These numbers are just awesome. I wonder how good this weekend will be with some schools getting out, etc. 1.3 million on a Wednesday, almost a month after it was released. I hope the Thursday number is above 1 million as well.

I saw The Phantom Menace, Attack of the Clones, and Revenge of the Sith seven times each. If you count both the original releases and the 1997 special editions together, I also saw Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi seven times each (six for Star Wars). Once I set the precendent, I had to keep it alive for the rest of the film series. ;)

Aside from the Star Wars movies, I've not seen any movie more than three times, and there have only been a handful I've seen that many times.

Its still playing down here in Mira Mesa. That is where I do most of my movie going...

I saw Pulp Fiction over 60 times. but that's only because I was working in the evenings in a movie theatre. and, of course, because I loved the thing to bits :p

I've seen Star Trek 6 times now. Jeri, you're ON girl!!

Re: Wednesday (6/3) Box Office - Star Trek #4 - $1.3 million - $213 mi

I'd hate to see it that many times in the cinema, and end up getting bored of it. As fantastic as it is, seeing it 10+ times seems like the appeal would gradually lose something every time.

Re: Wednesday (6/3) Box Office - Star Trek #4 - $1.3 million - $213 mi

Unbelievable staying power. T4 is off 46%, Trek 30%. What with Lost getting truly abysmal reviews, Hangover is the only real competition for the weekend. Terminator will drop fast, and Trek is really the only sci-fi action flick fare out there right now... that might keep it competitive... :)

I am still planning to see it again, although it may have to wait until this Monday. Private screening, I'm thinking... :D

Re: Wednesday (6/3) Box Office - Star Trek #4 - $1.3 million - $213 mi

Back to number 4!!! Small drops, and the hope of another $15-18 million weekend worldwide.

Be careful where you all get your "inflation adjusted" figures, I have seen no less than 3 different versions of these numbers.

yes, I can't STAND to even look at a Pulp Fiction poster now.
