As much as I like Steven Seagal, or at least the idea of SS before his last dozen or so direct to dvd flicks, this isn't any kind of loss to the production. Unless, of course, Stallone really needed someone to perform a key fight scene from a chair, shadow-boxing with the camera, or perhaps, wished to give a key grip the chance to dub a major character's lines while the actor lumbers through his scenes without moving his lips.
And yes, I realize he is very ill, but I'm not forcing him to "act" in one horrible movie after another. I would think he is knowledgable enough to be a big asset behind the scenes of an action flick. In front of the camera, he is alternately depressing and hilarious.
