Wedding storylines for 'Doctor Who'?

David Tennant's Doctor Who swansong will feature three weddings, according to a report in The Sun.
The newspaper claims that former companions Rose Tyler, Martha Jones and Sarah Jane Smith will all be getting married.
Rose - played by Billie Piper - will reportedly marry the half-human clone of the Doctor in their parallel universe, while Martha (Freema Agyeman) is said to be tying the knot with Mickey Smith.






Sorry if this has been posted somewhere but i havent seen it.

I thought Piper wasnt comeing back? Thought she couldnt so i hope this isnt real.

They went off together with Captain Jack at the end of "Journey's End," as a setup for an appearance in series three of Torchwood that didn't happen. But of course Martha has a different fiance, and like the linked Digital Spy article says, she's apparently married to him by the time of the Torchwood miniseries.
 
Wasn't Martha wearing a wedding ring during her appearance in The Sontaran Stratagem?
 
Wasn't Catherine Tate spotted on location in a wedding dress? Weird that she's the only companion not mentioned here!

Sarah Jane getting married??? To who? (If you'll excuse the pun!)
 
Sarah-Jane's supposed to be getting married in her show in the story Ten appears in, according to the press release about Ten's appearance.

everything else, i call bullshit on.
 
So let me guess, at all of these weddings, the companion is walking down the aisle to their prospective partner, and the Doctor shows up doing an impersonation of Dustin Hoffman in The Graduate

And they all run back to him to continue their adventures in the Tardis

Or is that a bit much, even for RTD

Sarah-Jane's fiance will turn out to be the Trickster or a Slitheen.

Mickey and Martha have never spoken a word to each other on screen, and the first episode of 'Children Of Earth' apparently writes her out of the action by having her on her honeymoon with Tom Milligan.

And as for Rose marrying 10.5, well I know that one's false because I'm the one who made it up and spread it round the Internet as an experiment in seeing if I could get a Tabloid to print it. Which they did, the morons.
 
well Ianto did seem to quite enjoy shopping for wedding dresses...

I think old ladies would think it was cute! :lol:
 
I'll believe it when I read the BBC press release.

Hell I still can't wrap my brain around the whole out of the blue 'Sarah Jane gets married' thing. Unless of course its some kind of illusion or 'under alien influence' type story.
 
I think that the only thing that has a slight ring of truth about it is Rose and Doctor 10.5.
