Well, Number6, since you don't accept something as simple as "This film didn't appeal to me" as a good enough reason, you're pretty much screwing the argument outright.
No matter what, there is absolutely no legitimate reason for you to constantly and incessantly attack anyone who has any reason to dislike this movie in such personal ways. The problem is not that you like the movie, but how you treat people who do not, or not as much as you.

"This doesn't appeal to me because I felt it was too action oriented and didn't have enough of Trek's more cerebral science fiction elements" is a credible argument.

I also don't like posts with an obvious agenda. There are certain people who set up posts just to solicit such insults and petty behaviour (B&B threads come to mind as does a few choice threads from specific posters).
While my better instincts would ignore such threads, you gotta admit that those threads can be a lot of fun, especially if you're on the opposing side of the argument.
