Ah summertime, when the networks hide the stuff they don't want us to see, not really...

May 30

Pushing Daisies
,final three episodes (ABC), 10 p.m.

June 13
Kings final seven episodes, 8 p.m.

June 21
Merlin
(NBC), 8 p.m.

July 4
Virtuality
,movie (Fox), 8 p.m.
Sooo...is that 10pm-1am for Pushing Daisies? Or just the first of three consecutive Sat nite airings?

As for summer series debuts:

July 10
Eureka (SciFi), 9 p.m.
Hmm, isn't Warehouse 13 set to debut soon?

Feel free to talk amongst yourselves. We need to bump this thread for more than a month. :D

I've already seen the last three eps of Pushing Daisies. I am looking forward to seeing the final seven eps of Kings though. :)

And yay for Eureka finally coming back!

Thanks for posting this! I can't wait to see that last of "Kings." I was really enjoying that one.

I believe the Pushing Daisies episodes are consecutive, but I could be wrong about that.

This is the first season of Merlin, right? I thought that was actually surprisingly entertaining.

And I'm glad we get to see the rest of Kings. I liked that show, but this is a prime example of networks being stupid - it was so obvious from the start that Kings doesn't have the slightest chance of surviving on NBC. A show like that belongs on HBO or so.

I'm looking forward to the return of Eureka and I'm keeping my fingers crossed for Warehouse 13.

And, of course, I'll be watching the final episodes of Pushing Daisies. What a shame that show was canceled. Too bad a cable network didn't pick it up. :(

...I was wondering what happened to Kings--guess they'll just let it die a quiet death during the summer months.

that's really a shame about Kings . . . they never even gave it a chance, simply because it has religious themes . . .

I've enjoyed it. And pay to watch Ian McShane do yardwork.

It must be said thatNBC did a lot of promoting for this show, though.

Adding to that, Eli Stone moves into the Saturday 10:00 PM slot beginning June 20th to burn off its last four episodes.

And on June 4th at 10:00 P.M., NBC premiers the Canadian series The Listener.

-- NBC's press release said:
"The Listener" centers on Toby Logan (Craig Olejnik, "The Timekeeper"), a 25-year-old paramedic who has a big secret -- he's a telepath. Until now, Toby kept his ability hidden, exploring its possibilities only with his long time mentor and confidant, Dr. Ray Mercer (Colm Feore, "24: Redemption"). As he makes the rounds with his energetic paramedic partner -- "Oz" Bey (Ennis Esmer, "Young People Fucking"), "The Listener" follows Toby as he tries to help people in crisis, and in the process, unravel the truth about his past. While his professional life is in check, Toby's personal life could use its own rescue. And with the help of Detective Charlie Marks (Lisa Marcos, "Diary of a Mad Black Woman") and his E.R. doctor/ex-girlfriend Olivia Fawcett (Mylne Dinh-Robic, "Da Vinci's City Hall"), Toby realizes his gift can help others.

Yes, they won't be showing the news, which get's better ratings, that night. :p

And Kings will run until 2am!

ABC will show one episode of Pushing Daisies a week until they run out, then Eli Stone, then DSM.

Wow, I forgot all about Merlin. Didn't they announce that a full year ago as part of the Fall 2008 schedule?

I'm looking forward to MERLIN. I was impressed by the first episode, and I'm told it gets even better. Plus, the reviews in the British sf magazine have been positive.

Oh right. Heroes but only with Matt Parkman. :D I'll give that one a look-see. It's probably cancellation proof because they snapped it up cheaply.

I think so. But when Crusoe tanked, I'll bet they got cold feet. At least we'll get the chance to see whether the suits were right.

They show news on Saturdays? :wtf:

Seriously, it's been so long since I watched anything on Saturdays, they could be showing 24 hour flea circuses and I wouldn't know the diff. :rommie:

The only one I was interested in was Pushing Daisies, which I already saw through the generosity of UK internet users. They're good, really good and true to the spirit of the show. Things are wrapped up nicely, though not in a way as it couldn't haven't continued.
