Klingons--bumpy or smooth?

Has anyone seen any pics/clips from the deleted scenes featuring the Klingons?

Are they Classic TOS era Smooth or TNG Bumpy?

They're wearing helmets of some kind so you can't see their faces. But the helmets themselves have Klingon ridges on them, so they probably do too.

They look more the light, symmetrical bumps of someone like Azetbur or Klaa than the total forehead makeover of the TNG-DS9 Klingons.

The helmets are like Klingon toupees, to cover up their embarrassing lack of cranial ridges.

They won't find a cure for the Augment virus until 2270 (unless Ambassador Spock e-mails them the formula for the cure 10 years earlier).

just make them look like Klingons... any way they like. augment "explanation" was such a contrived joke.

If the Klingons turn up in the next movie, they should be the Klingons the general audience would recognize.

It makes no sense at all to do a reboot and use the smoothy Klingons.

Well, there was that thing that Worf talked about in DS9, when they travelled back in time and boarded the TOS Enterprise during the episode with the Tribble, Odo pointed out that they don't have bumps and Worf not wanting to talk about it. We only see masks there so possibly whatever happened that Worf didn't want to mention is starting there.

Actually, it started during the 4th season of Enterprise.

Has anyone ever noticed how admirably professional and competent the cast and crew come across in these interviews?

Regarding Klingons, perhaps they should be half smooth and half bumpy and then do a film like TOS: Let that be your last battlefield.

Perhaps the story could be about how the two klingon leaders who were both from the same house but smooth/bumpy on opposite sides (sort of laterally inverted twins) - one day discover a floating derelict cryogenic spaceship from old earth containing the bodies of a bunch of assorted Trekkers who had invested their merchandising fortunes in one of those failed cryogenic schemes of the 21st century.

The Trekkers are revived and they immediately polarise into two factions, as per usual with Trekkers. This meme infects the Klingons because there's no way a bunch of soft-shapeless out-of-condition humans are going to out-bellecose them, so igniting a Klingon civil war, with house divided against itself.

The film resolves the battle with the crew of the Enterprise stamping their authority using a mighty canon, and consequently invoking massive box-office receipts for all the alpha quadrant.

The Cohorts have said that Enterprise did still happen in this alternate timeline exactly as depicted in the show, so it would seem that yes, Klingons did go to smooth heads at some point in this alterate timeline. Now, it's possible that Nero's attack on the Kelvin set quantum mechanics in motion in such a way that the Klingons were able to solve the issue and gain their ridges back a lot sooner than they did in the Prime Verse...
