The production of Star Trek was kept more secret than the happenings at Guantanamo Bay Detention Camp.
Normally when a film production is kept secret its because there is some well written detailed intricate original plot full of twist and turns that must be kept secret so as not to spoil the experience.
So they keep Star Trek a secret from the public. Then the movie comes out and its complete shlock!
There's nothing there! There's barely a plot at all. This movie is Starship Troopers! This movie is The Fifth Element! I've come across people who didn't want to hear spoilers, and I have to tell them there's nothing to spoil! You don't have to worry about spoilers for this movie anymore than you would have to worry about spoilers for Wing Commander.
So the question is, why was this production kept so secret?
