This week my car turns 100,000.

I bought my 1990 Toyota Camry in 2005 with 195,000 miles on it. Now it has 265,000 miles on it and it's still going strong. When I bought it, my dad recommended against it, telling me that it wouldn't be worth it. I've more than gotten my money's worth out of it, though.
Keep the oil and filters changed and I bet that car goes to 500K.

$500K for a 1990 Camry?

My 1993 Civic has 243,000 miles and is still going strong. It's had the clutch replaced, but that's about it. The other car is a 2005 Odyssey with 85,000 miles. It's also going just fine. The Odyssey replaced my 1996 Grand Caravan last fall which had just shy of 200,000 miles at the time. It also didn't have any problems and no sign of anything happening any time soon. We replaced it because my wife and I wanted an extra seat (8 passenger vs. 7 passenger).
