I pretty sure this has already been discussed, but I haven't logged since the movie came out and I'm too lazy to go look for the thread.
So who liked it, who loved it, who thought it was an abomination and who is just "eh" about it.
I like the movie a lot. They were able to rewrite the history of the original cast and not shoot the established canon(sp?) in the ass. I found it pretty inventive as it gives them more freedom with the sequel.
The only thing I had a problem with is that they stranded older Spock in the alternate universe. Not a big problem other than it messes with Trek Lit.
Overall great movie in my opinion. What are your thoughts???
