$35.5 Million more from overseas

I don't know if this has been posted here yet (I've been avoiding this forum until I saw the movie a few hours ago), but Star Trek may have not done that well compared to other markets in Germany, but at the same time, 40% of all movie goers over the opening weekend went to see Star Trek here, compared to second placed Wolverine at 16% in its second weekend.
Mind you, this is the country where first-run episodes of DS9 and VOY were run in the afternoon, supposedly because "it's a children's show".

I always thought the BBC got Star Trek spot on with their placement in the UK now that I think of it.
