There may be a fourth next year, but this is all we're getting this year. They called it a mini-series. Please tell me there will be a real Season 3 as well...
Oh, fer crying out loud! What the hell, did BBC hire some American network execs or something so they can keep the people from getting what they want like they do over here?![]()
I could be wrong but I don't think the BBC have anything to do with Ant and Dec or Richard and Judy.
Recent? It's 2 years old by now isn't it?I could be wrong but I don't think the BBC have anything to do with Ant and Dec or Richard and Judy.
It is called a joke, a reference to the recent scandal about how virtually every phone in competition on television is fixed and won by researchers from the show.
nope. if they did, we'd have 21 or so episodes a season for a series instead of the teen (or less) number of eps uk shows usually have.
No no, they'd commision a 22 episode season, but still cancel it after 5![]()
It is a shame that the news and current affairs is getting the shitty end of the stick all the time, that and children's. Not often that I'll agree with the commercial media but they're right that the Beeb should have more of that stuff because of their guaranteed income. It's a pity they butchered worthwhile magazines like Panorama and put an oleaginous creep like Jeremy Vine in post. No wonder all the really good researchers left en masse.

True.
So long as Jeremy Vine isn't involved in any of it. Jeremy is a wretched. He ruined Eggheads for me.
They never said that. The official word has always been that David Tennant taking time off was because he'd have the gap before filming the specials, not the other way around.Of course thats only the official line. I remember when they were saying the reason why Doctor Who only had specials this year was so that David Tennant could have time to do other stuff, and still return for a full series next year, and look how that turned out.
