I was just watching The Simpsons episode All Singing, All Dancing and started thinking that over these past 20 years there have been a lot of original songs (and a few parodies) on the show. I was wondering what songs from The Simpsons are your favorites.

Mine Are:
Adult's, Kid's from Wild Barts Can't Be Broken
The Monorail Song from Marge vs. The Monorail
Who Needs the Kwik-E Mart from Homer and Apu
We Do from Homer The Great
We Put the Spring in Springfield from Bart After Dark
When The Saints Go Over There from One Fish, Two Fish, Blowfish, Blue Fish
Lisa It's Your Birthday from Stark Raving Dad
Talkin' Softball from Homer At The Bat
Simspon, Homer Simpson from Marge vs. The Monorail

Which ones do do you guys like?

Monorail. Monorail! MONORAIL!

Dr. Zaius, Dr. Zaius. Dr. Zaius. Oh, oh Dr. Zaius.

How do you find the defendant?
He's guilty of mayhem, exposure indecient.
Freaked-out behavior both chronic and recent.
Drinking and driving, narcotics possession.
And that's just page one of his ten page confession!

I should put you away where you can't kill or maim us,
but this is LA and you're rich and famous!

I'm checkin' in
He's checkin' in
I'm checkin in
Checkin', checkin' in

No more pills or alcohol, no more pot or demerol,
no more stinkin' fun at all!
I'm checkin' in!

He's checkin' in! He's checkin' in!
No more looking pale and thin, no more bugs beneath your skin!
Hey, that's just my aspirin!
Chuck it out!
You're checkin' in!

Dr. Zaius, Dr. Zaius. Dr. Zaius. Oh, oh Dr. Zaius.

Damn I forgot that song from Stop The Planet Of The Apes, I want To Get Off.

And the Musical's ending:
I hate ever ape I see
From Chimpan-A
To Chimpanzee
No you'll never make a monkey out of me

O My gosh - I was wrong
It was Earth
All along
You finally made a monkey
Yes, we finally made a monkey
Yes, you finally made a monkey out of me.

I love you Doctor Zaius!

"They'll Never Stop The Simpsons" is another great one, though it was an end credits song instead of being in the episode.

"They'll Never Stop The Simpsons" is quite possibly my favorite Simpsons song of all time.

Just the line "Have no fear! We've got stories for years!"

I think that was Dan Castellaneta singing.

Also, The Ramones "Happy Birthday, Burnsie."

"Hey, I think they liked us!"

When the weight of the world has got you down,
and you want to end your life.
Bills to pay, a dead-end job,
and problems with the wife.
But don't throw in a towel,
cause there's a place right down the block,
where you can drink your misery away.
At Flaming Moes, let's all goto Flaming Moes,
where liquor in a mug
can warm you like a hug,
and happiness is just a Flaming Moe away.
Happiness is just a Flaming Moe away.

When I was 17
I had some very good beer
I had some very good beer I purchased with a fake ID
My name was Brian McGee
I stayed up listening to Queen
When I was 17

Remember Beer in the Coconut?
Homer: You put the beer in the coconut
You drink it all up.
You put the beer in the coconut
You throw the can away.
You put the beer in the coconut
You throw the can away.
Flanders: Homer.
Homer: You throw the can away.
Flanders: I said Homer!
Homer: You throw the can away.

You don't win friends with salad!
You don't win friends with salad!

It makes me conga

I like the Paint Your Wagon parody.

Gonna paint your wagon
Gonna paint it fine
Gonna use and oil based paint
'Cause the wood is pine
Ponderosa pine! OOO-ooo.

AND

Simpson, Homer Simpson
He's the greatest guy in history
From the town of Springfield
He's about to hit a chestnut tree

You don't win friends with salad!
You don't win friends with salad!

It makes me conga

Conga! Conga! Conga!
We love Monty Burns more.
Conga like you mean it.
Do not make me shock you!

"They'll Never Stop The Simpsons" is another great one, though it was an end credits song instead of being in the episode.

They'll never stop The Simpsons
Have no fears
We've got stories for years
Like Marge becomes a robot
Or Moe gets a cell phone
Has Bart ever owned a bear?
How 'bout a crazy wedding
where something happens and do-do-do-do-do-do
Sorry about the clip show...
