McG gives info on deleated ''Darker'' T4 ending.

You know I was thinking but the rumored focus of Terminator 5 really isn't that unbelievable when you consider the T-1000. I guess it'd finally answer the question of how it was able to jump through time.

Well, I just hope TS & T5 are as great as the first two terminator films. Then again there was that T3 Incident...:shifty:

I don't know how I feel about going back to the present. One of the things that makes Terminator Salvation feel so fresh and interesting is that it finally takes place in the world post Judgment Day. I think one film in that setting might not be enough. But who am I to say.

Yes, some rubbleland. Nothing left of our civilization. Does not exactly sound "fresh" to me. Also they forgot to include Cameron, what could Terminator be without her?

Says T3, which contradicts T2. I like T2 better.

Except T2 contradicted T1 on this matter (unavoidable Judgment Day).

How is that?

I don't think the predestination paradox goes that far. It only needs Kyle Reese to go back in time and impregnate Sarah Connor, anything after that impregnation is potentially up for slippage in details.

This is especially true since after T1 you have accept anything traveling back in time as being incorporated into the time-stream, not dependent upon that object/person's existence in the future to remain in the past. Which is to say the T-1000 will always appear in the past on X date even if Skynet were defeated a number of years before Y date, the date the T-1000 was actually inserted into the time machine.

I'm not sure that made complete sense (running on 2-3 hours of sleep).

Regardless, T2 is still better. :p

^ The way the Terminator timeline works is similar to the one described in BTTFP2, only two people can't exist at the same time (so far). Divergent timelines are created that run parallel.
