Bring back star trek on ch4

Did anyone watch bring back star trek on ch 4 tonight?
I did not think it was as good as bring back star wars or A team in the other 2 shows they got most of the cast together at the end.
In this one it was just filmed to make it look like they where together.
Had to say Grace Lee Whitney came across a bit bitter.
And why did ch4 show st nemesis for the 2nd week in a row if there trying to support trek can they please show a good ST film.

I saw it, wished I hadnt. Justin Lee Collins takes what should be a good show, and totally ruins, I can not begin to tell you how sorry I felt for Nichelle & Walter when they were filming his mini episode type thing, still that will teach them to appear in Star Trek fanfilms.

It was okay though typically annoying in places. I wish he'd talked to them all for longer instead of cutting back to him in the hotel naked and licking photos and stuff all the time. I mean all the sexual innuendo was just bizarre.

I think that's the first Takei interview I've seen where he hasn't mentioned being gay! They talked about his wedding but not the fact that he was marrying a man. He always comes across as a really nice and funny guy.

Grace Lee Whitney's face was really weird and she seemed quite bitter (though she admitted that.) I didn't believe her when she said Uhura was kept on because of "political correctness" (which is ruining the country, you know!) because I doubt the network cared much about being nice to black women in the sixties. Then again, I didn't believe Nichelle's Martin Luthor King story since she's apparently changed it so many times over the years.

Koenig seemed like a nice guy but didn't get a very long interivew. Nimoy is always good to listen to. Didn't really see the point of him going to the Klingon language guy. Mister Leslie and the Gorn guy were a bit more interesting at least.

Was weird how he never mentioned the characters of Bones or Scotty AT ALL or that the actors were dead.

Did not know that it was on ch.4 , but if it was brought back it would be great.

It might well be because Nemesis is the only Star Trek film that Channel 4 has the rights to - it wouldn't surprise me if they got the rights to it at the same time as they did Enterprise...

I'm just watching it now. As annoying as JLC is this isn't too bad. Nice that they went to some of the less well known characters too and not just the stars.
I think I wouldn't be nearly as gracious as they've all been if some weird bloke just ran up to me and started spouting shit though.

It was pretty cheap television I thought, and the stars came across well in being so tolerant of him - I don't think I would have been nearly as gracious as they were (although Nichelle's initial look of fury when he told her she'd been had was amusing!)

Presumably it was a case of Paramount saying "Yeah, you can have the Enterprise rights, but you have to take Nemesis as well....."

I remember at a con Doohan and Shatner arrived on different days, almost as if one was avoiding the other. Then again, Takei keeps shitting on Shatner every chance he gets, so he looks fairly graceless.

Takei and Koenig both had a pop at Shatner, albeit Koenig's was a little more 'restrained'. Takei's criticism was far less veiled.

JLC got time with Nichelle Nichols, Leonard Nimoy, George Takei, Walter Koenig and Grace Lee Whitney. Shatner was the only one that flat-out refused to take part.

Of course, having said that, the time that he did get with all of the above was done through fair means or foul, largely foul; contrived meetings and flat-out lies to get them to take part.
