Least favorite character

Wow - I had no idea. And apparently I was too lazy to look it up, so thanks, Praetorian. I liked her too.

I never have said in this thread who my least favorite character is...I think it's going to have to be Wesley. I am not crazy about Riker, either (and I'm kind of relieved to find that other people share this opinion), but he was featured in some really good episodes. Wesley was, too...but not very many, at least IMO. So Wesley, um, "wins."

Agreed, Too Much Fun, on your Guinan/Whoppi Goldberg comments. You know, I was never a big fan of both Crushers. I wish they had brought in yet another doctor, either another female human, or a female Andorian. What would the bedside manner of alien doctors be like, anyway? Hmm! -- RR

Tasha Yar, because she annoyed me to no end. Oh, and Dr. Pulaski, because she was not a very good character. In other words, neither of them were very well thought-out characters.

Creepy and critter-intensive, according to Enterprise.

As far as regular Enterprise crewmembers I would have to say that Dr. Polaski was my least favorite; she always seemed somewhat Harsh to me; didn't seem to have a very good bedside manner. Not nearly as friendly or gentle as Dr. Crusher.

I agree... That curly hair of hers freaks me out too...

She is no doubt my least favorite character too.. Luckily she lasted only for a season...:)

Ha. I expect to get flack for it, but Data was my least favorite. After so many episodes of "oh, it's hard being an android in the 24th century, let me tell you!" I just stopped caring about his angst. And if the show didn't make me stop caring about his poor plight, the movies did me in. There was too much "YOU MUST LIKE. YOU MUST FEEL PITY. YOU MUST CARE ABOUT DATA!! RESISTANCE IS FUTILE!!"

This may be, however, the single reason I liked Pulaski so much. Every witchy thing she ever said to or about Data, I cheered.

Fat Riker.

Picard evolved into the action lead, and Riker was left sitting at his desk filling out paperwork, or acting like a goof. They could have easily written him out of the show.

*Raises flack guns*

Nah, just kidding. Data's my fave ST character and even I noticed how unbalanced they got in the movies with regards to Data and everyone else. It just benefited me more, hehe... but I can understand another's point of view of how it took away from the other characters, so no flack from me.

Least favorite characters: Geordi and Pulaski. Gah. I really really really disliked Geordi, for some strange as hell reason I've never been able to put my finger on.

I would have said Wesley, except Wheaton is cute as Wesley, and thus, forgivable for being a horrible plot contrivance.

Geordi strikes me as a lonely, boring character who NEVER displays any personality, beyond a one-episode hobby of building model ships. :(

LOL. I think that's it. He just seems like some kind of nerd-hack. I mean, I'm one too, so I don't blame him, but still. It's also who he was replacing: Scotty, dangit, Scotty. A man full of life. Geordi was ironically a less human form of Data.

^ She had some good stuff considering she wasn't in many episodes.

She really did - and created a vivid character, too. Not a bad achievement considering how many Trek characters there are.

In her own way, she became more vivid than some of the regulars...which doesn't seem quite right, now that I think about it.

can't say I had a least fave character but some of them had a tendency to irritate me.... just certain ways that things were done to the characters irritated me.
