Now that I think about it, I would have added more starship porn.
Definitely, scenes of the Narada breaking Earth's & Vulcan's defenses.

Lengthen the emotional scenes. There were some powerful moments in the film, but they were over so fast, and then it was right back to light-hearted action. If there'd been time to develop a serious emotional punch, it might have been the greatest Trek movie ever.
Well, that's what the 2nd (and 3rd, 4th, 5th and so on) viewing is for on blu-ray.Ease up on the kinetic editing a bit. At times I just really wanted to take a look at the new sets, fxs shots, etc and couldn't.

That first time Uhura kisses Spock, he should have just been standing there, with no reaction. You are right, they should have had sex. But then the movie would get a higher PG rating.I'd have to add in a second about the Spock/Uhura romance. I think it would have worked if they hadn't been kissing all the time.![]()

-Eliminated product placement
-Given Nero more screen time to flesh out his motivations
-Saved Vulcan
-Made engineering look more like the TOS films, or better yet the Ent-D.
... what would it be?
I'd eliminate the weird Spock/Uhura romance.
