I guess that's what we get for letting the nuts be the most vocal ones... and drag us all into the mud
Hopefully this movie will bring in some new ''blood'' and maybe that would be enough to drawn out those more ''vocal'' and outrages voices, but I doubt it.
Well, I did see a guy with a big camera standing outside of the theater.. Looking quite disappointed since 30% of the crowd were 'regular' fathers who hadn't gone to theater in 10 years and the remaining 70% were hip youngsters of my age (mid to end twenties) looking nothing like 'trekkies'. He probably hoped there were some.

If the mainstream of America sees the stereotypical fan as opposed to the movie, then they will probably be more likely to embrace it. Win-win.
