Given that Julie Gardner is the Rose (not that one!) to his Bob I could see him going over there temporarily to work with her.

It could also be part of a backup plan he's set in place for the backlash that he anticipates from the finale. I've heard that not only is the kitchen sink going to be in this one but the pipes underneath as well.
