Oh boy, I'm so happy that so many people are playing along now. It really looks like everyone is having fun. People of The Trek BBS – all of you are awesome! Thanks to everyone, really.
Aw. Thanks. So do you. Although I have this aunt-like desire to tidy up your hair. Cool shot, though - your photographer friend has talent.
I'm not entirely sure how I turned out so orange. I'm generally pretty pale...I guess dark bar+camera flash=orange skin for Lori.
It looks almost as though the flash didn't go off or was simply totally inadequate for the low light - or maybe the camera was adusted for the light behind you. It looks like a photo taken with the available light, such as it is - you get odd colors with most kinds of artificial light if you don't use a flash. Fluorescent lights will usually give you yellow or sepia tones, for example, but some will give a strong blue color. It's very strange.

You're welcome. Trying to get a camera to show what your eyes see reeeeeeally makes you appreciate your eyes!

ok I used an old badly lit photo of me & played around with the colors on PS. Gives an idea without being too clear...
