Cuddy's going to have one heck of a whisker burn tomorrow! Does House shave about once a month?

Hugh Laurie's performance was a killer in this one. Emmy nomination work right there. Anyhow, I'm thinking the ending was a hallucination because I can't see Cuddy sleeping with him and I can't see how he could have gotten better that fast.

Excellent episode and, again, great use of CTB.

House and Cuddy hooking up at tend? We all expected and probably knew it was coming: :techman:

POTW story was good too and nice to see it taking a more central role.

What the fuck was up with Chase/Cameron, though? Why was Chase all angsty about some dead guy's sperm? Or did I miss something?

It could very well be a hallucination because it's hard to believe that she would invite Stacy to work for the hospital if she was interested in House all those years.
Chase was always kind of a jerk when working for House, but he's changed where Cameron is concerned. Both situations seem off.

Yeah, I was thinking this episode was Emmy-bait, pure and simple. :)

The way I understood it was this -- Cameron wanted children, but she wasn't 100% positive she wanted Chase. She had a fallback position -- dead husband's sperm. It's not that Chase was "angsty" about Cameron's desires; it's that Cameron was basically telling him that she wasn't sure if they were going to work out.

Ah.

Well that's dumb. Cameron's thinking with her brain and Chase with his "heart."

They may both love each other very much and want to get married.

Doesn't change the fact that 10 years down the road shit can happen and they can split up.

Yep. Plus, in "Detox" in season one House was detoxing for a week and could barely get around. Back then he was taking even less vicodin than now.

yeah i would be very suprised if that was real.
people just dont shake off a serious detox like that.
and i think cuddy would care enough about house not to do something like
that when he isnt exactly in really great shape mentally or physically.

And just like the commercial previews for this one gave away the hookup at the end, the preview for NEXT week already kills your hallucination theory, because he's talking to someone (Wilson, i think?) about having slept with Cuddy.

If's he's hallucinating still, it's one hell of a trip, because it's lasting more than a day!

My guess is that he didn't realize it was an hallucination. If it wasn't a hallucination then this is complete and utter nonsensical jump the shark bullshit.

I gave it an "Excellent". Just great, all around.

Judging from the preview, Cuddy's not denying that she slept with him so...guess that would mean she's hallucinating too? :p
