Enterprise Ship's Emblems TOS and Movie

What I've seen so far, I'm sure I will. Out of curiosity, what programs are you using anyway?

It depends on what I'm working on at the time, usually its a combination of Adobe Illustrator CS2, Adobe Photoshop and Corell Draw.

Awesome, although I wish one of the views was head on, but tilted down a bit so you could see the dorsal side of the ship a little more. But thats ok, it still looks great.

Well, not unless you care to do the other ships?

Although if you're any good at coming up with alien emblems, I have a rough idea for an insectoid race that will be the antagonist once they are fully introduced. (I'm doing the whole "shadows and suspicions" thing they did for the borg) Could be a nice challange for you unless you want to stick to starships?

Sure, I think I can take on the last 3. As for the insectoid race, if you could provide a sketch of what they look like and any ideas you might have for there symbol I'll see what I can do for you. Time permitting of course.

Next up the USS Cerberus, NCC-91013 :techman:

Well, it looks like crap, but here's a general sketch of what I want it to look like.

The four spines coming off the end of the arm can move independently like fingers. Incase anyone is wondering how a bug can fly a ship.

Here's my idea for the languages:

A little background info for them if it helps: Their name is the Tryesharan Alliance. (pronounced with a long sh sound) They are nomadic, traveling 500 years to make a full circle to their place of origin. Although they are nomadic, they are fiercely territorial of their original home world. After their last nomadic journey they return to find another race living on their sacred soil. One thought moves through their hive insectoid mind, destroy the desecrators.

Hey Kaziarl,

The drawings are not that bad. Everything starts out at that point. Well working on and off for the next couple of weeks, I think that I can have a logo for the Tryesharan Alliance. Just bear with me.

In the mean time, here is the logo for the USS Cerberus, NCC-91013 hope you like it.

BTW Kaziarl, correct me if I'm off the mark here, but does the Tryesharan written language look a little bit like the Predator's countdown clock?

Ya know, I haven't seen that movie in a while soo.... possably... Anyone got a screen cap?
I mainly felt that the language would be rigid in structure and form, much like the exoskeletal structure of insects.

No problem, I think that I have one laying around somewhere, when I find it I'll post it. Have you seen the USS Cerberus logo yet?

Oh yeah, and great job on the Cerberus, it's even better the the Chimera, and I'm personally biased towards the Chimera.

Quick note on the Marine one. I like it, but Department of THE Starfleet seems a little forced. I know you're following the mold of Department of the Navy, but for Starfleet I think it sounds better without "The"

Would you like ne to play around with the Chimera logo a little bit to see what I can do with it?

I thought the same way too, but Mike wanted it to specifically say Department of the Starfleet, despite my efforts to talk him out of it.
