Do you think Zod would make a handicapped person knee?

Everyone knows Zod loves to have people knee lbefore him. "Kneel before Zod" is his most popular line. I know he is a villian and all but surely he wouldn't even stoop this low. If someone rolled out Stephen Hawking in front of him I would asume he would give the guy a pass, just as long as he is willing to be a slave like all the other humans he wants to control.

I supose it might be more of grey issue with old people. He would proably make them kneel but I am sure he would let younger people kind of help them up afterwards if they can't do it by themselves. As for people who have just had surgery and can't get up I think he would still require them to kneel at some point. He would just get one of his goons to keep tabs on their recovery time and come back when it is more convient for them.

That's "Kneel before Zod". You wouldn't want him to smite you.
:guffaw::guffaw:Oh this is genius!

He would vaporize them with heat vision for being so physically useless. Zod would not care if it was Stephen Hawking. He would still consider him a primitive thinking human, maybe not as primitive as the bulk of them, but still very primitive compared to Zod. Zod would even consider Non to be more mentally advanced than Hawking, even after Non's forced lobotomy.

Kneel or die. Your choice. No exceptions.

Zod would laugh at the weakness of hadicapped people, and at the weakness and sentimentality of man in helping them. He would then toy with them before shoving them, and their wheelchair, up the Superman II president's ass, and then throwing him into space....

If Hawking were smart, he would find a way to become ruler of Australia, as Lex wanted to be.

He wouldn't have time to worry about it. He'd be too busy kneeling before Captain Robu.

What part of "kneel before Zod" do you not understand!? I don't hear him saying "kneel before Zod unless..." or "kneel before Zod only if...".

When Zod says "Kneel before Zod" you kneel before Zod, no ifs, ands or buts!

Not only would he order disabled people to kneel before him, he would laugh at their clumsy attempts to carry out his orders, and take pleasure in their terror.

Or maybe that's just me.

I think we can all agree the "Kneel before Zod" novelty would wear off, and Zod would become pretty flexible, after the first few hundreds of thousands knelt before him. As long as someone unable to kneel bowed their head deeply and properly groveled to Zod's satisfaction, they would likely be spared the eye beam roast.

Handicapped people would have no place in Zod's new world order. They would be killed quickly.
Non?

Non is an old friend who was forcibly given a lobotomy. Before that he was a leading scientist on Krypton. He was lobotomized to shut up his support of Jor-El's conclusions on the fate of Krypton. It was that lobotomy that led General Zod to take up arms against the ruling Science Council. He was defeated and charged with sedition as shown in Superman I and II.

Even in Non's lobotomized state, Zod will consider him more advanced than any human besides the fact that he is Kryptonian and his only real friend.

All others must come and "Kneel before Zod!"

Kneeling is all about submission, giving in to his wants and ways.

It could be argued that a handicapped person in a wheelchair isn't a threat and thus doesn't have to give any submisison. They're submissive by default as the lack of use of their legs doesn't pose a threat.

I did not see any of that in the movie.

That's because it wasn't there. It had only recently been revealed in the comics in a story co-written by Geoff Johns and Richard Donner, the director of Superman I and most of Superman II. Johns is a former assistant of Donner's.
