What is your geekiest possession?

For a while now I've thought of my Lego UCS Rebel Snowspeeder as my geekiest posession, either that or my United Cutlery replica of Arwen's sword Hadhafang from Lord of the Rings, but tonight my mind was blown as, whilst sorting through some old papers, I discovered, or rather rediscovered, a new and horrifying level of geekdom:

I dont know really. i have lots of star trek model ships and the complete collection of playmates next generation figures with the shuttlecraft!
 
put to shame I must admit.

My geekiest possession are all of the TOS, TNG and DS9 dvds taking up a significent portion of my dvd shelf.

I also have some various posters for Back to the future and Twin Peaks.

I often have Dune novels or shatner books lying around as well.

I don;t own action figures or models or anything.

I have a model F-16 also, but in my defence I retain it for nostalgic purposes, it was given to me as a child by my school principal to build as I recovered from an unfortunate incident in hospital. :lol:
 
I have an IDIC necklace that I bought off of eBay, and I have VHS tapes of all the Star Trek series recorded off of television. (The tapes belonged to my parents and they gave them to me when they bought the shows on DVD.)

I'd have to say my having two computers.... (though both of them are probably subpar to those IT types)
 
I have an entire book shelf of Star Trek books, novels, technical manuals, I even collected TV guide magazines with Star Trek featured on the front covers, I have some old stuff for DS9 and Voyager I bought when they were brand new.

I have a TOS plate with the characters on it.

I have an original style TNG communicator pin.

I have several posters, I had the Enterprise D taking up one entire wall once.

I bought the Star Trek Phone when it came out - This is probably the most geeky possession of all :D
 
I have a few old board games; Alaska, Contraband, Hare and Tortoise and newly acquired Carcassonne. But I claim Geek-in-law as they are bfs. He's after Ri (if anyone as heard of it)

I have a keychain just like that, except it's a Pentium M. My friend bought a whole tray of them and that one happened to be dead. I have a box full of old ICs (mainly old CPUs, including a whole bunch of Intel DIP chips), I guess that's pretty geeky.
 
Ten years ago, my room was filled with all sorts of Trek-related merchandise: models, posters, books, magazines, figures, etc. Talk about uber-geek. Thankfully I grew out of it a bit, and my love for Trek has windled down to a couple of shelves on my bookcase and the TNG & DS9 DVDs. So that's about it.
 
I have a tribble. Yep. A toy one, not one of the actual props, alas. And I have a talking Q action figure (which is, geeky or not, just as cool as it can possibly be).

Does Marvin the Martian count as geeky? Because I have a lot Marvin stuff.

Just kidding. Actually I have two TNG communicator pins, one the actual and the other the one from Future Imperfect.

I keep them well hidden.
 
ok seeing as everyones naming there Trek possessions....


  • I have a TNG Phaser with sound effects.

  • I have a TOS Communicator with sound effects.

  • I have a TNG Tricorder with sound effects.

  • I have a large model of the Enterprise-D with sound effects.

  • I have a large model of the Defiant with sound effects.

  • I have a large model of Voyager with sound effects.

  • I have a collection of minature 'micro machines' models of lot's of different Star Trek ships such as a Romulan warbird, Cardassian Galor etc etc etc.

  • I have a collection of about a dozen different badges of different Star Trek insignia.

  • I have about 7 folders full of Star Trek Fact Files.

  • I have about 8 T-Shirts depicting various Trek ships and crew and the movies.

  • I have a collection of 3D Hologram stickers depicting the TOS series.

Oh, I think I may have the winner here: I have...a slide rule. Yep. Still in its original plastic carrying case and everything.

At one time, I even knew how to use the damn thing (and what a pain in the butt it was, too), but since we were taught how one year, and just a year or two later were allowed to use (and could afford to buy) calculators, it's all gone now. From my head, that is - I really do still have the slide rule somewhere or other.
