Do you get less lucky the more brutes you have? It's feeling that way tonight.
As a matter of fact, since I give each less time, I am neglecting again to check the competition before challenging them. Bad idea!

At least my favourite noob Pussycatfang got a dog (my third for 11 brutes) upon reaching level 3. But at level 2 I made the mistake of confirming a fight with an opponent that had gotten to level 3 in the meantime.

Challenge the weaker, have no mercy! I can't bring myself to it.

Man, one of my brutes got beaten by a frikkin' keyboard! Literally.

Edit: At least Viperbite is doing great! Just level 3, but good.

I gave a pupil to LittleAngryHill yesterday, his name is Moonage Daydream and I just took him to level 3.
He started off a bit on the wrong foot, but things are beginning to look up.

Aw, I wish I'd seen that post in time! (For some reason I couldn't find the thread yesterday and forgot about it.) One of mine lost against a rain of bowls of noodles last night. Beware of leeks and keyboards too! Yes, the vegetable.

^^ Whoa, no. At what level are you playing?

The other night I thought the game had failed to record 2 out of 3 victories of my favourite brute in the number at the top of the page, but I can't be entirely sure. I keep records with number of days played and wins, etc., and it didn't add up, but maybe I'd recorded a number on the wrong line. I'm spacing them out now.

My little brutes are still plugging away.

LittleBruteFace definitely needs pupils and has no master. He's still getting his ass kicked, and is only a level 4. He's cute but he's a pansy.

LittleAngryHill is doing well, but is still only a level 5. She has no skills, per se, but has some very nice knives.

Auntiehill is very strong but her weapons kind of suck. She's now a level 7.

No but I've noticed every time I click to do something and go somewhere it's constantly telling me there's been a brutal error. It's starting to get tiresome, one time it took me 5 clicks and refreshes just to try and begin a fight.

I think it gets really busy, especially before and after midnight, when bruters are trying to complete the previous days fighting, and then getting started on the next day's set.

EDIT: Ok, as of tonight I think Niorah hasn't lost a fight in at least five days. Now at level 9 with her faithful panther.
If only I could exchange Survival for Armour or Martial Arts I'd be a very happy Brute indeed.

For some reason it didn't happen to me tonight that I recall. Perhaps because I pace myself and closed other heavy software. (I noticed that on my computer, bruting is incompatible with other heavy software activity.)

About masters, all of my best brutes are pupils of one of my worst. From the start I felt as if having pupils doesn't help. (Although that bad one, only has one point-earning pupil. She doesn't deserve a bigger investment.)

Now my friends please welcome my champion noob SweetThing4
Only just made level 4, being 4 days old, but she won 12 out of 15 fights. She was good with no weapon and no impressive talent besides some honed martial arts, and now she has a flail! Sweet indeed!
I can't wait to see that tool in action, though it's really cool to see her win against all kinds of weapons with nothing but her hard little fists and her disarming powers of attraction.

In fact she is stronger than she looks, with the combination of strong arm, thick skin and martial arts. It's not how many assets you have, it's how well-chosen they are.
I hope her flail doesn't keep her fists too busy.
