MANT!

Received an early Birthday/Father's Day gift..

My loving wife surprised me with the following..

So I've upgraded from a 27" CRT HDTV (now in the bedroom) to this...
though analog signals don't look as good, the addition of HD cable tuning more than makes up for it.

She loves me!!!:techman:

Anyone else get pleasantly surprised by your loved ones?

In December 2007, my spouse suggesed we get a digital projector that we could connect to the VCR, DVD player, and our laptops. It's mounted on the ceiling above the sofa and we now have a nice 84" diagonal image on the wall about 6' or 7' in front of the sofa (it's a narrow room). We can use the VCR as a channel tuner for watching cable TV too. It's awesome for re-creating the theater experience but without the inconveniences. :)

Oh, yeah? Well, my girlfriend gave me a refurbished Drive-In Theater. So there.

That totally rocks. I have a 27" analog (bought 17 years ago) and would love to get a 42" for the living room.
