What episode(s) do you think you've watched the most?

I think I've watched The Collaborator the most, along with The Homecoming, The Circle, and The Siege. (I was writing a fanfiction that drew heavily from the events of those episodes.)

I can't say I hate Odo though, he's universally amazing IMO. Although his crude makeup in the first season or two hurts my eyes. How come you usually hate him? :p

Did you take your username from T&T? I just noticed that because I was watching the trailer for it yesterday where it shows the Sisko saying that. Otherwise I probably wouldn't have picked up on that. That's an awesome name to choose from a great line of DS9. :bolian:

I just find Odo to be too much of a blowhard most of the time - so pushy and grumpy, and I'm very irritated by the way that Rene alters his voice to play the character. I was also infuriated by the way he treated Kira in that episode where he's basically having sex with the Female Changeling for days while she's going crazy worrying that all of their friends are going to be killed soon. Even after he helped her in the end, I can't fully forgive him for being such an easily manipulated self-centered jerk. His superiority complex about being a Changeling can be sickening.

Having said that, I can also admit he has his moments. I really felt for him in "Crossfire" and enjoyed "A Simple Investigation". I can't believe I liked an Odo-centered episode as much as I liked that one, but it was very well-written and acted. I am looking forward to seeing "Treachery, Faith, and the Great River". And yes, my screenname is indeed from "Trials and Tribble-Ations". I was gradually becoming more and more of a DS9 fan at the time I joined the forum and with Jadzia Dax being my favourite character and that being my favourite episode so far, I wanted a screenname that referenced both. Glad you like it. I tried to make it pretty obvious with the signature, but I guess it still slipped by some people. :p

:p

I agree with you. Odo was never really a favorite of mine.

The final Dominion War arc. But I'm not a big episode re-watcher. Probably have watched any episode three times max, many just the once.

For me, it's pretty easy:

1. Improbable Cause/The Die is Cast (always watched together)
2. In the Pale Moonlight
3. Favor the Bold/Sacrifice of Angels (always watched together)

The two 2-parters above are my favorite picks when I'm in the mood for a 'DS9 Movie Night'. Not movies, obviously, but they may as well be. Long enough, and REALLY great!

Other episodes I've watched tons of times are:
What You Leave Behind
The Changing Face of Evil
Doctor Bashir, I Presume
For the Uniform
The Siege of AR-558

It's Only a Paper Moon
The Wire
In Purgatory's Shadow/By Inferno's Light
(as you can tell, I LOVE those Garak/Tain episodes)

For some reason I find it hard to watch episodes that are part of an "arc" indivdually. I mean take one of my favorite episodes, Taking into the Wind, for example. That's part of a large canvas and I've only seen it maybe 2 or 3 times since getting Season 7 because it was part of the final chapter. I feel like I must see it all in order as one really long story. Not sure why.

^ I sorta feel the same way. I can watch What You Leave Behind by itself (and have done so), but the rest of the final arc is much better when viewed from end to end.

IMO, they don't really have the same emotional impact when viewed in a vacuum on their own.

Apart from the Dominion arc, I really loved the Ferengi, Klingon, Garak and Tora Ziyal episodes.

Then there is 'Destiny' 03x15
I've probably watched about a dozen times already.

i dont think its my favourate DS9 episode but the one i've watched the most is definately "sacrifice of sangels". my favourate episodes are generally ones with either sloan (section 31), or episodes where weyoun features heavily

The first episode of season 4 The Way Of The Warrior. I swear I almost have it memorized. That is my FAVORITE DS9 episode of all my favorite DS9 episodes.

It's certainly not my favourite, but I'm pretty sure that I've seen "Family Business" more than any other DS9 episode. Not for any real reason, that's just how it's turned out.

Improbable Cause + The Die is Cast is my favourite episode, although I think I have seen The Jem Hadar more (simply because it's shorter and an easier sit down).

The Way of the Warrior would also be up there, along with Homefront + Paradise Lost.

Heh. It's funny how the Ferengi episodes tend to crop up the most when one is casually flicking through channels. Ferengi Love Songs sure does for me.:sigh:
