I know Doug Drexler said if he had a choice he would call it ''UNIVERSE CLASS'' but sense it's not official, I figured I'd ask you guys/gals what you would call it?:vulcan:

Okay, How about. ZEUS Class/ OMEGA Class/ GENERATIONAL Class/ ARK Class/ BEYOND Class/ BEYONDER Class/ OMNI Class/ ULTIMATE Class/ HALCYON Class/ INFINITE Class/ INFINITY Class/ INDOMITABLE Class/ INFALLIBLE Class/ ATLAS Class?

Constellation, Nebula, Galaxy, and Nova all represent astronomical structures.

How about Pulsar, Quasar, Singularity, or Supernova?

I believe Doug Drexler says it is Universe-class. OK by me. I like to respect the designer's opinions on such things. Also, it's a logical progression.

If I had to pick myself, I'd probably give it an alien class name (since we don't see enough of those), or maybe Federation class if we don't accept the other one as part of the canon. Naming each after a planet or star of the union might be nice as well.

Wow I love this ship...I like how the majestic looking grace of the design is accentuated by relatively thin nacelles and struts, suggesting advanced technology has eliminated the bulk from previous starship components.

It's possible that the "struts" (nacelle outriggers) are thicker than those on starships we're more familiar with, but that the saucer is the size of a small city, so the struts just look small in comparison. Or something.

I could live with Universe Class... except for what do you name the other ships in the class? Multiverse??

Lyon_Wonder got it right, though, IMO. ;)

Cheers,

I always liked Enterprise Class. However, if you go by the blog, I prefer Generations class or Century Class.

Might be true in overall size, but in relation to each other in the design, they look smaller.

I think we're in agreement, that's what I said in not so many words. :)
