the 100% axed & 100% renewed list

^ I hope that you are kidding

It would be a substantially more accurate depiction of the real Allison Dubois's exploits than what we have now.

And besides, one of the big problems with Medium's current formula is that Allison never kills anyone. The show needs more action centering around the protagonist. Allison needs to start using weapons, or developing her psychic powers into something deadly.
but that is not why people watch this show, I enjoy the fact that Alison is for the most part a wife & mother first & a physic second, I enjoy watching her family, her relationship with Jo etc

ok the show needs to find a new way for Alison to wake up from her dreams other than

*sequence of a man budging a woman to death with a baseball bat*
Alison wakes up shocked on the left hand side of her bed, looks to her right & shakes Jo.
Alison: Jo I had another dream, it was awful, I got to call the police
Jo: what, its 3am, and ive got to be up for working the morning, this happens at least 5 days a week, how are you not capable of taking care of this by yourself.

I really hope Dollhouse manages to get a repreive from Fox - and a new timeslot next season. I am amazed to find myself saying this. Afterall, the first few episodes of the series did absolutely nothing for me and I was ready to drop it. Then, suddenly, the series became much more interesting. Guess that goes to show what happens when a network stops interfering with the creative process.

Thirded. The first few episodes I watched out of a hope it would turn good and it did. If this show gets cancelled it'll be a shame.

They could revamp Medium into something that would attract a broader audience fairly easily. Have an extremely powerful demon ravage Albuquerque with an army of evil ghosts, killing Joe and forcing Allison to retreat with her children to the safety of a Tibetan monastery, then time-jump ahead 3 years, with Allison and Ariel, now fully-trained warrior nuns with shaved heads and facial tattoos returning to New Mexico to confront the forces of evil.
That would be awesome. I already got to see Highland High School nuked on Terminator. That plus a demon destroying the city? Awesome.

Friday night is a TOTAL death slot! All those Numbers fans will sure be pissed when CBS finally cancels the show after only 180 episodes.

A Dollhouse renewal is unlikely, but still, there's always a chance until something official comes along. Firefly was already cancelled at this point wasn't it?

Didn't The X-files start out on friday nights as well?

Yes it did and is one of the few exceptions.

XFiles aired for 3 seasons in on Friday and it's first season ended up being 102 out of 118 shows. If that was the case today it would've been killed of then and not allowed to develop. Fox's programming model seems to be wanting a quick buck more than a 7-8 year series. Fuck development! We want another American Idol!

When you're the king of a crappy night, a network isn't going to move you. Numb3rs is the highest rated Friday show but has only cracked the top 30 this season (last season it was 55th overall). If this was on a another night chances are they'd kill it. CBS also seems more willing to deal with lower ranked shows if they win the night. Also, they have CSI, so screw everyone else. They can afford to have a few good shows that aren't pulling in the eyeballs.

I hate how people are constantly saying FOX is killing Terminator/Dollhouse by putting them on Fridays. They have no room on their schedule and they refused to move any of their other shows so what did you think was going to happen to those two shows?

The problems are they are still using the outdated and shitty ratings system... Which don't account for Tivo/DVR recording of a program.

Well, if they really wanted to...they could expand their lineup by an extra hour a night. Given the current climate and the advantages FOX gets by having their news an hour earlier, this won't ever happen.

However, they are killing Prison Break by putting it on Friday. Well, it was dead before and they just put it on Friday to kill it...rather.

Prison Break is in it's final season and getting record low ratings. There is no reason for FOX to try to "save" the show.

Terminator. If the show can't get good ratings even with the movie coming out in a few weeks I doubt the ratings will get much better if FOX decides to bring it back next year.

:guffaw:well its on 100 episode this season, so you might not be far off. CSI is past 200.

The problem with Numb3rs is, whilst the rest of the cast is pretty interchangeable, CBS has to pay big for Charlie & Don, the two brothers.

DVR numbers were better than the actual live viewings though.

^ and as long as advertisers think that people are watching the ads when they watch a show on DVR, T:SCC wont have a problem.

cant believe that some good shows are ending or be canned by the networks, life is 1 of my favourite shows, here in australia we are about to see the final episode of the 2nd season, i like this show, it something different, hope it come back for a third season,i also like life on mars(the us version)cant believe it only ran for 1 season.

Have they not decided on "Family Guy" renewel, or do they already have a contract for a specific number of seasons (like I believe "The Simpsons" still does)?

If they are going to make the crap they have for these passed few months, FG doesnt' deserve to return.
