The Quasar Bridge Returneth

1. Encounter at Farpoint
2. The Child (Season 2-7)
3. Yesterday's Enterprise
4. Future Imperfect
5. Parallels (All Good Things Style)
6. Parallels (Wesley Version)
7. All Good Things
8. Generations

I would say 8 Designs, because they where intentional changes. The old "incorrect past Enterprise" was due to time and budget.

Also you can see more of the USS Odyssey bridge, it was a reuse of other DS9 bridges.

Joe, thanks for the pic comparing the battle bridge variations used on DS9. I agree completely in respect to the Enterprise-D bridges.

The TNG standard 1701-D/Yamato Bridge was always the same... the DECOR changed. The only time the actual physical floorplan was altered, was in "Yesterday's Enterprise", "Parallels", "All Good Things", and GEN. With those episodes and film, they changed the physical floorplan by adding steps, adding side stations, and extra consoles/plexiglass panels, and other equipment. But during the regular run of the show, the physical floorplan itself never once changed... only the decor.

BTW, LOVE the new avatar, Joe. :D

Not personally having taken notice of these nuances beyond the color changes in "Yesterday's Enterprise", I wonder if anyone has pics of the differences?

Yeah, I gots one:

As you can see; they added a dias for Picard's chair, got rid of Number One and Da Shrink, added some mesh/grating to the gap between the horseshoe railing and the floor, rebult/redressed the aft panels and (not seen in this image) added side stations, which were more free-standing and functional-looking than the blended ones from Generations. And they added some metallic bracers or whatever to the door alcoves to get rid of the "padded" look.

Could probably get better refs by browsing through it on TrekCore.

The side panels in "Yesterday's Enterprise" were the same ones that they used in "Future Imperfect", except that the smooth border around the circuitry access had bolts on it, to give it a more militant look, and the lighting level was much darker, obscuring a lot of detail.

The side panels have been used in almost all of the alternate incarnations of the Enterprise-D, in the Parallels and All Good Things... versions, they are a darker red color.

I can't believe I never noticed the lack of Troi in the alternate timeline...or the fact that she doesn't have a single line of dialogue. :D :D

Well, I meant their chairs. Their chairs are gone, not them.
I know. But I played bits of the episode and it looks like Troi is gone during the alternate timeline, and she says nothing at the beginning or end.
