Kellogg's Limted Edition STAR TREK Cereal

It's sweetened Oat Cereal with Marshmallows. The cereal has Galaxy, Planet Vulcan, Planet Earth, and has Blue, Yellow, and Red Delta Shields.
Sounds gross. Don't know if I'd want to eat it, but it's cool that there's a Star Trek cereal out there. I'll be on the lookout for it.
Sounds like almost the same thing you'd find in a package of Lucky Charms, with a few of the shapes changed (not to mention a switch from the General Mills brand to Kellogg's.)

(Posting this here too)

Look what I managed to score, beeyotches!

Some of the Star Trek themed groceries have surfaced in my local Hy-Vee.

Good old Hy-Vee. Where there's a helpful smile in every aisle. :) Probably half the kids in my high school back in the 1970s had their first jobs at the local Hy-Vee. Nice to see them come through.

Yummy! Star Trek cereal. I want to buy it! I bought two ST branded boxes of pop tarts the other day. Three more Star Trek pop tart purchases and I get a free movie ticket!

i've been looking all over the place for these star trek cereals and there are none to be found anywhere i've looked in the new york area. i even spoke to a couple of friend's who work in supermarket's and no one know's anything about them. any one know of any in this area?

I know Wegmans is based in Jersey, but that's all I know. Any a close drive to NYC? I say that because at least the Wegmans in the DC area have cereals with the badges.

Check that, btflash; We have two down here within twenty miles. But the actual chain started in New York. They were aggressively expanding before the economy hit the flusher, but nowadays, I'm not sure.

Wegmans is in Bridgewater, Cherry Hill, Englishtown, Mt. Laurel, Ocean, Princeton, and Woodbridge. I may have been wrong about from where they originated, but here in the DC area, where Giant ruled for so long with a bland hand, they've been a blessing. Also, for all I know, we've bought up all the Trek-stuff cereal before it gets that far north. ;)

They're not really badges. They're just small (appx. 2 inches high) pieces of plastic that light up like a very low-powered flashlight. Unless you use a hot gluegun, you're not going to be able to wear it like a badge, either. Which really kinda sucks, but it looks nice on my shelf. lol
