What I really want:

..pets. A cat or a dog. I'm home alone all day and get very lonely.
But Hubby won't let me have any. He says he have to get laminate floors first.

...to go to Disneyland or Disneyworld. Or Wales, or Scotland. But Hubby would never allow it. It's too much of a waste of money.

...to go on a hot air balloon ride for my 40th birthday.
But hubby refuses. See reason above. Plus he's too chicken.

..children. I feel like my life is meaningless and I have a lot of love and knowledge to share. But it's not happening. Not even close.

I want a new car, probably a Ford Escape or Honda CR-V with 4WD. Last winter was pretty brutal in Seattle and while it was unusually snowy in December it does make me worry if it'll happen again, thus I'd like a car that I can actually use in the snow. My little '99 Ford Escort just doesn't cut the bill, and it's looking a little dated (though it still runs great). It would also make it so I didn't have to worry about using the train or bus for holiday travels over the passes to my parent's house. I will need a new car at some point, but it'll probably be after law school in 5 years or so, I hope my Escort lasts that long.

I also want a job after law school that will allow me to take care of my student loans while still living a semi-decent life (at least renting a decent place, I understand buying will be out for a few years).
