At least my wife is listening to me

My wife knows I'm a trek fan and she listens to me relate the positive and negatives assessments of the new movie that have been generated by this board. But as non-sci-fi fan and 25 years of marriage ya gotta wonder how much does your spouse really hear.

We were in Wal-Mart the other day and I stopped to check out the Playmates Enterprise display that was there. As I'm looking at it my wife says jokingly " Uh-oh! It's got blue thingies not red thingies." So she doesn't know their called nacelles. Gotta love the fact that she at least listens to me. And no. The color change doesn't bother me. I just told her about it being discussed.

Ha ha. That's an awesome story. Luckily for me, my wife is as big a Trekkie as I am (one of the requirements for marrying her) and she would have properly called them "bussard collectors"

25 years of marriage. Gotta talk about something. And yeah. She does love me. Unless I get a Trek shirt from the cereal box. I think that would be pushing it. But then there's always role playing............
