What are the ten summer movies you're looking forward to the most?

10. Ice Age 3: CGI, dinosaurs, yadda yadda.

9. Night at the Museum 2: I enjoyed the first one.

8. UP (Pixar): It's Pixar (though I'm still waiting for the next Incredibles from them!)

7. Land of the Lost: Looks like it will be funny AND a good dinosaur adventure.

6. Harry Potter 6: I love HP dearly but this will make for a boring movie I fear.

5. GI Joe: looks like a fun dumb adventure flick.

4. Wolverine: I'm excited about the limitless mutie cameos!

3. Star Trek: I could give a fig about this film until I saw the trailer and it actually looks amazing visually and full of huge action!

2. Transformers 2: loved the first one can't wait to see a lot more robots!

1. Terminator Salvation: I cannot wait to finally see the future war, to see robot armies tearing it up with human survivors, to finally see what is so damn great about John Connor. And it looks like it's shot in a great gritty manor. I even read the prequel novel for it!

NU-TREK is #1 on my list! I wouldn't even go to wolverine if it wasn't for the fact my entire family wants to go, and the fact there paying for tickits!

#1: Star Trek - I have been anxiously awaiting this movie for over a year. Must see.
#2: UP - Pixar at what looks like their whimsical best. I want to see this too.

After that, I don't care.

1. Star Trek

2. Star Trek

3. Star Trek

4. Star Trek

5. Up

6. Star Trek

7. Star Trek

8. Star Trek

9. Inglorious Basterds

10. Star Trek

These aren't really in any particular order. I'm looking forward to all of them:

Star Trek
Wolverine
Terminator: Salvation
Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince
Inglorious Basterds
Public Enemies
Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen
Up
Land of The Lost
G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra

1. Star Trek
2. Terminator: Salvation

That's about it. I was interested in Wolverine until they decided to bastardize Deadpool. Now I'll probably just rent it.

I'm really, really looking forward to T4. I've really liked everything I've seen so far a lot, and I hope the movie will up to this.

I'm also extremely curious about "Moon". I think it has the potential to be really fascinating.

So far, what I've seen of the new Trek movie hasn't really done anything for me. I'm not sure yet whether or not I'll see it at the cinema.

7. Public Enemies- pretty good trailer and nice acting chops involved

6. Harry Potter 6- Well, I've the seen the others, so I'm kinda obligated. Eh.

5. Transformers 2- Hoping for a movie dealing with the Transformers and the not the 'continuing adventures of Sam Witwicky'

4. Wolverine- sounds awesome. Trailers have me a little worried.

3. Terminator Salvation- hopefully this will be the reboot the franchise needs

2. Up- Ed Asner as a crabby old man in a Pixar movie? I'm sold. I love Pixar.

1. Star Trek- Yup. No shocker there.

I didn't include Bastards since it's in late August. Hell I felt strange including GI Joe since it's the first week of August (why did they wait so late in the season?!). I'm definitely very excited about Bastards!

In no order...

1. Star Trek
2. Terminator: Salvation
3. X-Men Origins: Wolverine
4. Up
5. Inglourious Basterds
6. Public Enemies
7. Moon

That's really it.

Well, if we're counting movies being released during the North American summer movie season (beginning of May to the end of August), then:

Star Trek
Moon
The Time Traveler's Wife
eh...maybe T4

Not all of them will be released promptly in Australia though.

Greater Union at Innaloo, here in Perth already has advanced ticket sales for ST. I am going to Gold Class so I can be fed a meal and have drinks while sitting back in my recliner and have NO FUCKING KIDS running up and down the stairs and chatting on their mobile phones during the film.

The only true must-see for me is Star Trek of course, after that comes Terminator: Salvation, Up, Moon (but for some reason I get the feeling it will get a limited release and will be hard for me to find locally), and maybe Inglorious Bastards (I feel Tarantino has stumbled with his last couple of flicks so I'll wait for word of mouth). The rest I don't care about or will wait for cable/DVD rental.

I am anticipating NO movies this summer, though I'll probably see "Up" just because every Pixar movie I have seen has been good (though I avoided "Cars" because of reviews).

STAR TREK

X 10 ;)

The other big movies I will gladly see but not Anticipating them.
