New episode Friday night for Prison Break's brief return to TV to burn off the last of its episodes before the series goes to bed.

From TV.com:

Michael and Sara journey to Miami while Lincoln meets with his mother. T-Bag and Self's mission to locate Scylla takes a dramatic turn. The General comes under pressure.

Airs at 9/8 Central following a rerun of the last episode aired, from way back in December.

I posted this thread a full day early to remind what fans of this series who may still be around that the series is returning tomorrow.

Wow so that's what five months between episodes? I had to read the synopses just to remember what was going on. Which really confused me because in those last 5 episodes the loyalties of Self/Gretchen/T-Bag changed in every single episode. I couldn't keep track of who was on who's team :p Anyway this was the usual good episode. I'm not sure how I feel about the momma being the last villain, it's a little too Alias. I was hoping the mom would be an ally.

//Over at Fox, Prison Break return to air its remaining episodes with a repeat at 8 p.m. (Viewers: #4, 2.68 million; A18-49: #4, 0.8/ 3), followed by an original installment at 9 p.m. (Viewers: #4, 3.38 million; A18-49: #4, 1.2/ 4). Needless to say, it is indeed time for the four-year-old drama to go.\\

"T-Bag" (boy does THAT name take a new meaning now) is still on the show.

I think that name always had that double entendre meaning. Mostly in season 1. But T-Bag had been chemically neutered since then...

Well, his actual name is "Thedore Bagwell" so it's a logical "nickname" for him which just happens to have that double meaning. (Which I was aware of since the begining. By "new meaning" now I meant with the "T-Baggers" at various rallies around the US.)

It disgusts me how thousands of Republicans are joining in celebration of a one handed child molesting serial killer. Monsters.

Average - I'm really tired of this show and just watching it because it's almost over anyway. Also want to see how they kill T-Bag. Mommie Dearest strikes me as a totally contrived bwahaha character. Bleh.

Thinking about how great this show was in S1, man it's fallen far.

Yah, I still love the characters, but the show has really become the same thing over and over and over again. I know the writers strike really killed their (the creators) plans and the show never had its chance to fully spring into it's new direction after season two like it was supposed to, but still, they could have done better then what they did.

That said, this last season did have some very good episodes during it's run. Just not enough of them, and like Star Trek: TNG, all the big events were quickly wiped out or negated the very next episode. So we always ended up back at the same point as two episodes before. That's no way for a series to go.

I finally got around to watching this episode and all I can say is Meh.

Honestly, it's been gone for so long I could really care less about the show anymore.

How many episodes are left?
If it's less than 5 I'll finish the show as I've watched it from the beginning, if its any more than that I'll just drop it.

This season was a big improvement on S3 but still not anywhere near as good as the first two. I'm glad it's coming to an end before it becomes aimless and pointless, like Heroes (boy, did that one become irrelevant quickly?!).

This episode was one of the poorer ones of season 4, IMHO. The 'WTF?!' moment of the General's apparent demise was undercut by his miraculous escape. T-Bag, Mahone and Linc are all working too cosily together to be credible. And the plot with the mother has the potential to be interesting, but I'm not really buying the performance of Kathleen Quinlan in that role. Odd, because I usually like her.

I see Amaury Nascalo is still in the opening credits. Hope Sucre returns before the finale - his apparent farewell in the last ep was very underwhelming.

I vote Average because this series has set too high a standard to get away with an ep like this, especially when there are only a few to go.

I loved Season Three! It was just the change in story the show needed at that point. It was back in prison again, but one without any guards or rules where the inmates rule the asylum. I thought it was great and very tense. Plus, they killed Sarah!!! Oh wait.

Yeah, S3 gets ragged on a lot but I liked it, I felt it was much better than S2 which just seemed all over the place.
