Thank you. (Belated: I just came back from Easter weekend away from civilization.)
It's just that I don't always have the courage of my personal choices. Not that I choose my final entries on competitive strategy only, but I'm often asking other people's opinion and usually follow the advice of the majority - if majority there is.

A contest I wanted to do with the TV & Media Avatar Contest was "raped my childhood," but since that would probably be mostly Transformers, G.I. Joe, Star Trek, Indiana Jones, etc., I need to win the contest here in order to do that. :p

Actually.... I kinda think it's ont a bad suggestion at all, given that we have a Doctor Who forum in which there are regular avatar contests.

I'm just thinking that so many people from outside the UK tend to write off British Sci-Fi as just Doctor Who (and its related series) when we've produced a lot more.

After all, H.G. Wells was British, along with George Orwell, Arthur C. Clarke, Terry Pratchett, J. R. R. Tolkien and so on and so on.

I get it, I was just wondering where Torchwood stood. I thought it was obvious, given my latest contest entry. :p (Sorry if the answer is easy to find in the Dr Who forum, but I never go there.)

But honestly, if we did a British theme, I really meant to enter
