The Easter Renewal Thread

Happy Easter to everyone, I hope your day is filled with blessings and joy.
Easter is a holiday that celebrates renewal. In general, Christianity focuses on the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Regardless of your system of belief or lack thereof, I was hoping we could just encourage one another today, give one another strength, renew our sense of pride, of love, friendship, compassion, zeal for life, whatever brings us comfort and peace.

So peace to you today, may your heart be light and joyful, your soul at peace and content, and may the blessings of love and light shine on you this day. :)

Happy Easter everyone.

May your day be full of Birdies, Eagles and Green Jackets.

Wait, that's not Easter, that's Masters. :o

(I know what I'm watching today...)

Happy Easter to everyone from the Ravescene clan. :)

Happy Chocolate-Egg-Giving Day everyone. :techman:

Regardless of how or why you celebrate it (or don't), I hope you are all happy and safe. :)

Renew! Renew!

Happy Easter, everyone. :)

It was also my brother's birthday, so we celebrated the renewal of the aging process. :rommie: (I can't believe my youngest brother is now well into his 30s  )

The same to you, J. God bless.

And to you all, as well - a late but sincere wish that you had a wonderful Easter.

I gave up wine for Lent, and I wanted to brag a bit...I made it. Except for communion wine, which I figure is OK with God. And it wasn't too bad, either - I might do it next year as well.

I have to say that first glass of wine yesterday evening tasted really good, though. And maybe that's part of the point of giving it up? How those of you who give up red meat or chocolate manage, I do not know.

Edit: Oh, and a few days before Easter was my baby sister's 40th birthday, too. Eek!
