Need Whovians Opinions

Would personally add Genesis of the Daleks as a must see

Damn, how did I miss that one? Good catch! :techman:
That was the first Doctor Who story I ever saw. It is definately a must see for fans.
I did not see much of the first Doctor on the list. Here are some key stories.

The Aztecs
The Dalek Invasion Of Earth
The Daleks
Tenth Planet
The Meddling Monk

For the second Doctor, War Games is pretty good and important to the backstory of the Time Lords.

  • The Tenth Planet/Power of the Daleks(1-2...the first episode of Troughton doesn't exist anymore)
    War Games/Spearhead from Space (2-3)
    Planet of Spiders/Robot (3-4)
Logopolis/Castrovalva (4-5...and conveniently collected as a the 'New Beginnings Boxset')
Caves of Androzani/Twin Dilema (5-6...and Twin Dilema isn't out on DVD yet)
Time and the Rani (6-7...Number Six didn't have a proper ending, and 'Time and the Rani' is not worth your time)
    TV Movie (7-8)

I say watch anything from the first four Doctors and you're guaranteed to enjoy it. I'd say watch up until Peter Davison's first story Castrovalva.... and then pretend the show ended there, because it really was shockingly downhill after that point.

there are some pretty good episodes after that for example some of Mccoy's later stories are of good watch able quality like the remembrance of the Daleks and Ghost Light Colin Bakers era does suffer a bit also for Davison there are some good episodes like earthshock & The Caves of Androzani which are always worth a watch.

Wot, no Deadly Assassin?
A dark look at the Time Lord society which made the Doctor's leaving Gallifrey make a lot of sense.
