Simtropolis preview of Cities XL

For the city-builder fans out there, Simtropolis recently put together a preview of the upcoming Cities XL. I've been following this project for a while, and this made me even more excited. While I'm still a little wary about online play and the fact that there doesn't seem to be any regional play in the game, what is included looks pretty incredible. The possibilities for things like transportation, for one, looks really intriguing, and I think it'll be great to play a realistic city builder that breaks away from SimCity 4's annoying grid system.

Anyone else looking forwards to this one?

Damn EA for what the did to the SC franchise with "Societies."

Same here. Maybe now that the big bag of disappointing FAIL "Spore" was: the Maxis folks/Wright can work on a TRUE Sim City.
