^ Yeh, when I put series low it means both viewers & demo unless I want to target just one then I will say Series or season low viewers or demo. Its safe to say Fuller cannot save the show and Heroes is dead after 4x18...

I'll do a round up later.

Ok - I'll remember that next time!
Thanks mate
Kind regards
SJA

Winners...
Dancing With the Stars, Surviving Suburbia, House , 24 and NCAA Basketball Championship

Worthy of Sticking Around

Losers...
Chuck, Heroes and Medium

ROUND-UP

Just when you think NBC couldn't get any lower they found a way and even the Heroes demo, which was one of its two saving graces has become as average as the last few episodes. It's only other saving grace is the worldwide audience, which brings in much needed $$$ but while they may of brought it a 4th season, it won't buy it a 5th. Rumors are Chuck will be given a short order and a new night for the fall to see if it can raise its figures but at this rate NBC may even pull that idea but I think its pretty clear Medium will be cancelled with Jay Leno taking the 10pm slot. The only safe 10pm show so far is L&O SVU which will be moved to a 9pm slot most likely on the current night its airing on.

ABC enjoyed a stellar night thanks to DWTS, which helped newcomer Surviving Suburbia but I have the feeling that the show's premise won't hold for long when out of DWTS's shadow just like Samantha Who. Castle is a funny one but ABC must realise by now thats it cannot bring in a good demo at 10pm on Mondays but not all is loss due to the solid 9 million+ viewer base, which is more than worthy of a 2nd season pickup. More important for Castle was it held over 9 million not leading out of DWTS but a different show.

I have never encountered two shows like TBBT/HIMYM, which can keep so much of its original audience for a repeat, truly remarkable. NCCA finished the night of well for CBS though it was down from last year.

FOX had a typical night though I would of liekd to see the original planned lineup by FOX which was supposed to be Dollhouse/24, maybe next season ey (special kudos to 24 this year for being fantastic). CW has ruined any early positive signs this season by too many repeats.

Heroes, oy gevalt!

They better make it The Sylar Show more than ever. Trek XI is about to hit like a frakkin Genesis Device (terrific reviews!!!) and Heroes desperately needs the PR boost.

Oh Christ that hadn't occurred to me before now. Now they can NEVER kill off Sylar... he's going to hang around with bogus time-wasting stories forever

I've been saying that ever since Quinto got cast as Spock! :rommie: I just had no inkling by this time that a) Trek XI would be looking so promising and that b) Heroes would be in such dire straits. A supernova couldn't kill Sylar now.

If I were an NBC honcho, I might be tempted to think about aaaalll those hundreds of millions of people around the world who've never heard of Heroes, go to see Trek XI, like the cast and start looking around for what other stuff they've been in, particularly if it's sci fi. That might sell a few DVDs.

Heck, I rented Bottle Shock and Smokin' Aces just to see Chris Pine and assess his acting ability (verdict: yay! :bolian:)

Couldn't care less about Heroes.

Castle may be dropping, but not significantly. It should be alright.

Hopefully Chuck will get some sort of chance next season.

Castle is actually doing OK. NBC shouldn't be wasting their time and money with Heroes.

L&O SVU got picked up, however the actors have not been.

Who was Chris Pine in Smokin Aces?

He was the youngest of the psycho redneck hillbilly brothers who did the cute ventriloquism scene with Ben Affleck's corpse. (Who ironically was once rumored for the Kirk role).

His brother was Keamy from Lost, there's some oddball genetics! He was recognizable as himself but totally vanished into the role - that shows real range.

Heros will get next series, Sylar/Spock being part of it, but that next series had better be a hit, or I tend to think NBC will chop it.

as for L&O SVU, welcome to TV in a recession.
