How soon is it til the season finale? I know the first season went for 23 episodes, so is it next week or did they order more this time around?

Episode 25 is going to be the season finale. It's going to be called "An Invisible Thread".

I see that Heroes is up against College Basketball tonight instead of a full hour of DWTS - being English I not sure how big a ratings winner College Basketball is - is this a good or bad thing for the show in terms of ratings?
    Kind regards

Who is close to Danko? Some new character brought in out of nowhere who'll never been seen again?

I don't think it's much of a problem. I think DWTS probably gets bigger ratings than basketball.

The only people that Danko even talks to these days is Noah and Sylar. Maybe Sylar is going to be a danger to himself?

Well it is the national championship tonight. That being said, it's not the Super Bowl or World Series. And people who know nothing about college basketball yet are suddenly interested because of office pools still won't watch. All they care about is the final score between two college teams they've never heard of before. :p

I just realized I have no idea what the last episode I watched was. Maybe the one where Sylar meets his father? I guess I don't really care anymore.

It is indeed someone we've never seen before, but really, we don't know much about Danko's personal life and what he was doing before all this started. Is it such a stretch to think that he isn't always the joyless, amoral workaholic that we see him as?

Actually, that was one of the things I liked about this episode: it continued to give Danko some new layers we haven't seen yet. I find him more interesting now that he isn't just a cipher.

Overall, I mostly liked this episode, although I found it a bit of a step down from the previous couple -- but still far better than most of the episodes this season. It kind of dragged a bit in places, and some of the moments with Hiro, Ando, and baby Matt were too overly cutesy.

But there's a lot I did like about the episode: Sylar having some fun with his new ability by messing with people's heads; Noah's latest marital crisis; and the end makes me think things (i.e. storylines and characters) are really starting to come together, finally.

You missed the last two episodes. The writing is noticable better now that Bryan Fuller is back. There seems to finally be a sense of direction for this season.

Mohinder is useless. Get rid of him. He can take Claire with him on his way out. If only Hiro would follow them.

Yeah, he played Danko and Noah's wife really well.

What was really great was Danko's actor playing Sylar as Danko talking to Danko. He made you think it really was Sylar. Brilliant.

It's Lilith, the super demoness from Supernatural who sent Dean to hell and sicced the hell hounds on him that mutilated him! Tried to fuck Sam, too. Danko's girlfriend is the high priestess demon. How appropriate.

I knew that Sylar was impersonating Sandra. Sandra loves Noah in spite of it all, bless her heart. I hope Sylar didn't kill her.

Matt would have needed a ShamWow there if he went through with it.

Hiro and Ando must go far, far away. Both the characters could die for all I care. So. Very. Annoying.

I like Hiro, but every time he is on screen, the compsoers for the series keep using hte same upbeat theme. The plucky if it wasn't for Thomas Newman we wouldn't have a job theme. And it DOES NOT work every time. It's really annoying.
