So who had her arrested? Weaver?
The cop suspected Ellison. More than likely, Ellison was followed. He isn't the brightest of bulbs.
I was just thinking about something that was said that popped into my head:
During John Henry and Catherine Weaver talking about the story of Cain and Abel John Henry asks which brother he is and Weaver replies: "Perhaps you are God."
What if John Henry is meant to be the prototype. In the comics Skynet creates spinoffs of itself to oversee operations in other locations. For example in Russia Skynet is known as MIR.
I don't think so. I think that she meant he is God in the context of the Cain and Able story, with machines and humanity in general taking the role of the brothers. His choices will decide the fate of both.
Weaver is substantially more technologically advanced than John Henry, but she lacks something that he has, some metaphorical divine spark that separates a mere sapient robot from a real person, the difference between Pinocchio before and after his transformation. It isn't just that John Henry can learn, it is that he is, in some innate and indefinable way, better than she is, and she sees this. At this moment, she sees him as a child, and treats him as such, but she is grooming him to be her master, her lord, her king, and her god. She isn't telling him what to do, she's allowing him to make his own decisions according to his best understanding, and is encouraging him to do so. I think, her only real problem is that she doesn't trust him enough to tell him the whole truth, right now. This is a problem.
Ellison and Weaver are idiots for this one reason. Full disclosure, to John Henry and to the Connors, would avoid potentially destructive conflict. Their desire to avoid conflict is just making it more or less inevitable.
I'm still wondering why they don't carry around LAWs where ever they go. A lightweight anti-tank rocket or two would be extremely useful against Terminators. Their reliance on pistols is kind of silly given what they know they'll be up against.
I'm also kind of disappointed that Cameron ran and left Sarah behind, when she could have easily turned the streets into a river of blood. I understand that there are good reasons for the retreat, but it would have been cool is see her engaged in wholesale slaughter. She's a terminator, it's what she's made for.
But overall, it was the best in the season, even though I wanted to jump up and slap some sense into the characters all episode.
I do, however, think that they could improve the ratings by implementing my suggestions of more violence and explosions. Specifically, rocket launchers, lots of rockets launchers, and Cameron with a minigun.
