I'm 18 and a canonite, and know there are three things any TOS era film HAS to have on in relation to the bridge:
1. Red shirts (with a kill counter).
2. Colourful bridge with manual controls.
3. Those bridge railings and those chairs.

Heck even Brannon Braga, (the arsehole) knew and respected that.
