The Cybermen vs The Daleks - webcomic

so she feels the need to belittle him? the one who could say that he loved her, yeah thats the sane thing to do.

"Illuminate! Illuminate!"

Good stuff, man! Can't wait to see more... :techman:

I'm assuming you've heard the words "spoof" and "parody" before. Besides, not every DW fan is an RTD fan. ;)

um, all i see is some picture. what am i missing...??

The "next" in the bottom right corner. :)

Depending on your monitor resolution, you may miss it if you don't scroll down. The ezine is coded to be centered on your screen but I've seen it on some res settings where it takes up the entire screen.

And The.. thanks. :)

yes I have, I still feel they got the character or Rose way off, apart from when she was laughing at the Cyberman in the wig.

*sigh*

wamdue, I like you. You're one of the nicer people here but I don't know how to make this any more clear.

PARODY.

That answers your characterisation concern right there.

it just feels wrong, even for a parody.

a good parody is when its based on a small part of a characters personality, I dont see that kind of personality in Rose at all, its totally foreign to her

Well, I'll explain it simply. I don't like Rose. I don't like romance between the Doctor and any companion and I think the whole 10.5 crap was just that. Crap.

It's a webcomic that has Daleks and Cybermen forcing her to judge a talent contest. It's silly. It's fun. It's for a laugh. Sorry you missed that and just focused on something that was really rather meaningless and not even the point of the comic.

Do you really care about whatever true love forever she may or may not find find with a blow-up doll. And if you got to the end, the reason for her behaviour is blatantly obvious. :)

Well, I thought it was funny. And that someone is a completist in the field of Doctor Who action figures... ;) I'm surprised as how variable in their motions these figures are.

hello im a Doctor Who fan.

Hey Count Zero, thanks. Although they're not all mine.

And wamdue, that's the stupidest thing I've heard today. Guess only people who believe Rose and Doc 10.5 = tru luv 4ever count as true fans.

Yes, you're a Doctor Who fan. I've got that.

So am I. However, I'm the type of fan that accepts others have different views of the show and characters, of the things they like and don't like. You don't seem to get that.

But, at least you've kept the thread active so, while we disagree about Rose and 10.5, at least I'll thank you for that. And again, if you'd finished it, the reason for her disliking the Doctor is obvious.

And if you really want to debate the characterisation, we could always have an in depth look at what a spoiled, selfish little brat she was through pretty much the entire time on the show.

I think what warmdue wanted to say is that as a Doctor Who fan it's inevitable that he would focus on something rather meaningless in the big scheme of things. After all, that's what we do all the time, right?

that is the one, not sure who this warmdue is however.

Josan there is a reason I dont write alot of fanfic, simply because I believe what I put online, will be judged, and people will post there opinons about it, if you dont want negative opinions on something youve made, dont post it on the internet.
