You know..when you are on the site and click on the viewscreen button? It opens a mini movie. The swf files are the movies. You need the flash player to play them. You should have it, if you have flash installed on your computer.

That's awesome actually. The graphics are more active and "3D" in appearance than the Okudagrams.

Which is unrealistic, because everyone knows that in the future control rooms consist entirely of disguised fluorescents and duratrans art.

I don't agree with some of the details but overall I suppose it looks okay for what it is intended to do; make mountains of $$$.

These days, I suppose realism isn't as important as flashiness for getting butts in seats. People are like crows, they like shiny things so it will probably work on that level.

It gives me a deeper respect for the old, boring, bland designs, they feel more logical and realistic than ever, by contrast.

You can make a survey if you like.

It's a good idea to come up with a meaningful array of choices for the poll though - it's not always as easy as it seems. You need intermediate grades that make sense to people, or the thread will fill up with objections to the ratings.

We can forward a copy of the results to J.J. Abrams, who will doubtless give them all the consideration they're due.

I do hope those perspex screens are temporary testing equipment for the new ship, and should there be a sequel (all be it confirmed), I hope these are removed.

I'd love to do a survey to see how much hate and rage JJabrams Enterprise provokes, because I find it all rather amusing, TBH.

I don't like the lights around the various displays, they're rather tacky. Aside from that it looks great, the addition of the floor and ceiling does much to improve it over the glimpses seen in the trailers to date.
