So Davis now knows who he is. He's invincible or immortal or whatever.

Chloe lied to Clark about him, then killed Davis against Clark's wishes, which made Davis even more powerful, now she's going to be Davis' love slave in a locked basement to "protect" Clark.

Not that Clark isn't an idiot, but this time it's Chloe deciding she knows what's right for everyone, making the decisions and fucking things up. There's something to be said for being open and honest and allowing group decisions on things that affect everyone. But then we wouldn't have a story.

So the character is made to be flawed so that things can go to hell so that we can have an exciting season finale. It sucks because they are having Chloe act totally wrong compared to who she has always been.

Jimmy was right, of course, but she feels no remorse about that. She's destroyed Jimmy's life, at least for the next year or so, but let's just let him wander around alone on drugs and sit at home and have dinner with Davis.

Tess is Lex. She is doing exactly what Lex would have done. The irony is that she hated having Lex see through her eyes and manipulate her, but she is still completely his creation and acting out his will. She is exactly where Lex would be if Rosenbaum was still on the show, knowing about Clark, trying to control his destiny, being still put off and shut out by Clark, being convinced that he/she is the one to be making these decisions about what is right for everyone.

On the whole this season is losing me, for the same reason Battlestar Galactica lost me, because the characters are becoming so flawed that I don't care about them anymore. Once characters/people are too far gone, there's nothing to keep you involved with them.

I had a feeling the liquid Kryptonite was going to have teh opposite effect on Doomy. It almost seemed like he was having an orgasm instead of being in severe pain like when he was a kid...
I kinda like teh fact that Miss Tit-Smacker knows Schlarks sequit destiny. Cmon Schlark she seems to be on your side...
All in all I gave this episode a Piss Poor just for the fact that it was a complete teas episode and No Lois. And is it me or do the chick that plays Lois and the chick that plays Schlo-ee have a Hayden Panty-Tare-ee and Milo thing going on where they hate each other and wont be on set at the same time? Cause it seems like they each take turns with the episodes...

Ok. There's a lot going on in this that I don't get. :wtf:

Anyway, it seems to me the Liquid Green-K was in a sort of system rendering benign to Clark and Davis as it didn't begin to effect either until after Chloe released it.

Lead pipes I assume....

Chloe is so dead.

Yeah, it's not looking good for her. :( Unfortuanlty (fortuantly?) they seem to be railroading her character so that her demise will almost be either just, expected or even desired.
Yeah. They've kind of been toying/teasing with it since season four (after they brought her back). But it's gotten to the point to where the writing isn't just on the wall, it's all over the house.

And speaking of dead, without NX and Proc around, this thread is seriously on life support. :p

Chloe is NOT the one going to die. Wish she weas, but she isn't. :(

so that scene where Davis gets dropped off, and he hulks out, does he become a mini-doomsday? Or was he of the same size like when he is an adult?

Yeah. :( I'd toss Mr. Adventure in there too.

Unfortunately I had a work assignment that kept be away for the last few days. I just got back this morning.

Will be on hand for terminator tonight, provided my computer doesn't suddenly develop a virus. My mouse is working strangely... taking longer to click on things. But probably nothing to worry about.

I actually thought this was the strongest episode of Smallville in a long, long time. I was actually surprised when Tess blew up the car! The show is usually extremely predictable.

I thought the very last scene brought it down a notch, but other than that it was surprisingly good.

Could be the SKYNET worm. Your computer might be Typhoid Mary. :p

Nah, Skynet has no interest in me ...

I'm gonna go on a limb and say the 2 deaths are gonna be Davis and Clark, totally far fetched, but that's my theory and I'm sticking to it, with Clark's resurrection next season of course

Lionel Luthor thought nothing odd about the goon he sent to drop off the naked kid found at meteor crash site to an orphanage being turned in hamburger. Just a coincidence, right? Or was Davis burying bodies at a young age?

Tess is looking fine and cherry wine. Chloe is no slouch on the couch, either.

And you know this because...
Ausiello from EW gave that away in a recent column. he hides answers with asterisks but a recent one basically said, "Chloe doesn't die."

I can't put much stock in what Ausiello says anymore, epecially since it makes a hash of his previous spoiler of "two deaths, both stick, and one is a vet" There are only two vets on this show and you don't have a show if the one dies permanantly, so who's left?

Of course, Craig on K-site says some cast members may not actually die, just leave. Not to say nobody's dying though.

Lana, Lex and Lois. I don't think he said that the vet is a current regular on the show and Lois has been on the show for 5 years, that's enough for vet status.

One retcon that doesn't make any sense. If Lionel knew that Clark was The Traveler (God, I hate that storyline) from the beginning, he would have killed the Kents and taken Clark by force.

Fuck Jimmy. He's an obsessive, creepy, two-timing dullard and I'm glad Chloe screwed him over. I was rooting for Davis in that one.
